Letters to Support Hwy 40 redirecting

The application for designation of SR 40 as a Florida Scenic Highway must be submitted soon.But, to get it, they need a tiny bit of help from you now. Scenic highway designation requires substantive evidence of broad community enthusiasm, so we must have a good collection of support letters to attach to the application. The Volusia County people have been good about getting letters in, but we need more from the rest of you--especially from Marion County!


Please copy/edit/adapt the letter provided to reflect your position/views and send this week. If at all possible, put your letter on letterhead and include at least a facsimile signature. Address it to Mariano Berrios, but send it to Glenn Burns (burnsgis@comcast.net) with an e-mail copy to me.
